• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Not really.
Most people will never "see" what prices they are sold at and which Bursts are sold. They will continue to try to make sense of it all, but without the complete picture of actual sales and prices, much less how the deal arrived at the sale point, almost nobody will "see" the Burst market as it continues.
And, it is continuing.
It is not dead, and some do in fact sell.

Frankly, after 30 plus years of listening to people try to predict or even explain the Burst market, I am amazed at what crazy ideas some folks cling to, thinking that they clearly know, based on the extremely limited info they have. And most of that is anecdotal.
Yet, several here have tried to make it more clear.

This board offers the clues to figure it out, but it is too complicated, and most want a black and white answer.

Best to enjoy these guitars.
I find them [and the music they still make] far more fascinating than the market for them.
