I have several guitars with different size frets, and after a few bars I will adapt to the differences just fine, with the exception of my 74 LP Custom with the fretless wonder frets. I had to trade it for a newer one with medium jumbos. I just didn't like it...As far as string bends I need some height off the board to get a hold of the string...
