• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Congrats Joe!

Yes, the color on this one is right up my alley...

From the man hizzself -

"You can live two collecting lifetimes and never see an original owner 1959 Les Paul Standard. Today in Atlantic City I was honored to buy this one from Martha. Her husband Frank bought this guitar in 1959 in Plainview New Jersey. The family kept it for 60 years until today. I am very excited to be the second owner. Thank you Martha and family. I will give a loving home. I give you 9-0427 aka The Daddy Reed Burst."

Splendid! Congratulations!:salude

The beautiful cherry sunburst finish on that vintage Les Paul perfectly exemplifies what a sunburst finish should look like. It's perfect! If it sounds and plays as good as it looks, it will bring smiles to Joe every time he opens the case. I'm glad a beautiful guitar like this will have the chance to play on for years to come (vs. sitting around in a vault).

Bummer. This was a reference pointer to the IG video post, but it's gone.

Anyway, this very Brocky Burst is a great reference color for me if I ever get a Historic Makeover or M2M. Just great IMHO... :salude
