70s L6-S upper bout consistant?

As a long time owner, anyone notice that some pictures of original L6-S's appear to have less pronounced upper bout? I know that camera angles contribute to this but even taking this into consideration it looks like some vary. There is the Deluxe and Midnight versions too, don't know if thats the reason.

If someone has information or experience with the Gibson L6-S line i would be happy to hear from you!
