Hey all,
I took out the PCB, and put in standard CTS tone pots, and 2x CTS DPDT Push Pulls.

Neck - works perfectly. Even with the pulled pot.
Bridge - I think feels thinner than before
Middle - quack. And unwanted quack.

The guitar came with a push/pull pcb, allowing for Coil TAPPING, but I switched it to Coil SPLITTING.

I tried switching the hot colors around on the bridge - no effect.
I use the exact same wiring setup between bridge and neck (except allowing for the color differences on the wires).

Please can someone help? I'm on day 4, and utterly exhausted from it.
I'm attacking the wiring diagram to show the colors/hot, etc.
One other thing of note: both pickups only measure around 4ohms, and when the wires are combined, it's around 2 ohms - they're meant to be 8ohm pickups, so I think either: The coil tap from factory is built into them, or something weird is going on.

It was brand new, no other work done.
Please could you help?

with the pot pushed in you should be reading 8-ish Ohms and 4 when split.

It reads like you are not connecting the two coils in series in "regular" mode but sending both coils to ground.

Out of curiosity, what was wrong with the PCB?

Maybe that color code chart you have is incorrect. Try doing some additional searches.

Given the symptoms, I would first check the coil wiring and pickup polarity. It sounds like a phase issue or an unintentional, permanent split.
