• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Was browsing on Dave's Guitar site and drooling over the new Historic SG/Les Paul. Is it my imagination or is the headstock smaller than on the new SG '61 Reissues on the same site?

Which is correct?

Also, shouldn't these guitars have double ring Klusons?

Help, guys!

No, the '61 RI SGS have a larger-than correct headstock. The SG/LPs are closER to what it should be.

It seemed like that to me too. Thanks for the input. I'd hoped for more response. I'll research it and let everyone know what I find. Double ring Klusons also. I always thought they'd gone to these with the SG body.

Jeezus, I thought someone here must know!
