Esseries Memphis '61 335

Looks like there's a slender necked sister model to the new VOS '59 335s that appeared this year. Hard to believe the fatter neck commands a $500 premium!

I guess it's the extra mahogany in the "fat" neck that costs more money.

Oddly the prices of the 61s just jumped from $3460 to $3749.

Dont worry wait till tomorrow and the price will go up again,, thats the thing u can count on with gibson,,,, I just got myself 07 59 335,,, love it

I had a 2006 Nashville '59 that looked to be M/P/M (definitely a lighter wood as the middle laminate.) My current '63 Historic ('09) is also M/P/M. I've yet to see a single pic showing a Historic with M/M/M.
