Joe Bonamassa Nashville hang....7 bursts in tow!!!

Guys...My wife and I had the pleasure of doing the Nashville hang with our buddies Joe B., Mike & Roy(Joe's manager). We even had a chance to do the bar crawl on Broadway the night before the show.
This show was extra special. There were seven bursts in attendance. In addition to Joe's three, and Tom's Sandy, Greg Martin brought his, Brad Whitford brought his, and a Nashville collector brought his.
We had a blast!
Here are a few shots from soundcheck. I'll get to the photos of the actual show a little later.....

Flat out awesome!

Did any one of the 7 bursts really stand out from the others in terms of tone?

Great photos - more please!

Nice that folks are lending out their original Bursts so they can get some professional "exercising"! I am a little surprised that Joe was wearing a shirt with metal snaps while playing a borrowed guitar? I would hope that didn't result in any new scratches on the old gits...

I swear, Charlie, some of the guitar shots you've taken of Joe B. rival the classic posters of Jimi & Jimmy P. I had on my walls as a teen.

It will be hard to beat 7 bursts on stage in one night.... Still, records were made to be broken...

Amazing what color the Skinner Burst displays under stage lighting. Here is a picture of me holding the Skinner Burst at the Dallas Show just prior to JB's acquisition. See the greening?

Thanks for those pics of Brad's Burst, it looks amazing. The whole set of guitars looks amazing! Everybody here needs to go see a killer player like Joe playing a number of Bursts on stage, where else can you see something even remotely similar? I would have loved to be there!

Re: Joe Bonamassa Nashville hang....7 bursts in tow!!!

I think it would be very cool if Joe is keeping some kind of journal detailing the individual playing/tonal characteristics of each burst. Think about it…you've got one guy, playing with the same touch, technique and amplification on all of these different instruments. It would make one heck of a read for us junkies.
