I think the camera lens (wide angle?) distorts some of the guitars towards the edges. Anyone else seeing that?

Great pic.

That's a massive collection and I'm sure it's not the complete collection either.

Notice no Category5 or Budda amps etc.

Anyone know if the Flying V or any of the Bursts are '50's vintage?

Re: Joe Bonamassa Guitar Collection

Thats just a fraction of his collection, more vintage ES's SG's Strats...
I think the V is an early 80's reissue.

Awesome pic

There's a grey Cat5 head sitting on top of a Cat5 4x12 inbetween the Marshall stuff on the right, and then a Cat5 4x12 sitting under the Park & MusicMan heads on the left. Agree with you on the Budda; nothing in the pic.

That definately won't be his full collection.

I'd get lost knowing which guitar to play on tracks if I had that many.
I'd love to see his collection of pedals too.

He certainly looks like he has a club for every shot, hard to imagine and kind of scary there are probably guys out there with more who have just been doing it longer. Gibbons looks like one who might have a warehouse full as well. Great pic it would have been no easy task just getting this shot ready.

Hole. Eeee. Shit.

Excellent collection. He really prides that Flying V. That was the best tone of all the guitars I heard him play, just slightly outpacing his signature goldtop. Funny that I thought the goldtop sounded better than either of the R9s that I saw him play.

Re: Joe Bonamassa Guitar Collection

Where is his Gold Sparkle Strat? The Gold Sparkle strat is my favorite of the guitars in his collection.

Also last time I talked to him he told me he has a bunch of Gretches including an old Country Club. I know he just bought an early 70's ES-355

Re: Joe Bonamassa Guitar Collection

no category 5s
no marshall class 5
no sgs, firebirds, explorers.
the only les pauls are versions of the standard (excluding the deluxe) no customs or any other model.

definitely not everything

(still amazing!)

I dunno....I have maybe a dozen and sometimes I think that's too many. You can only play one at a time (generally)
