Mr. Moon's R9: New photos!!
OK, here are some of the new shots I took of my 2008 R9 VOS last night. I'm no photographer or anything, so I just set up the R9, set the camera to "auto", and took a few shots.
Please note that the custom sticker has been removed *and* the switch tip has been added!! Click on the images below for a high-resolution version!          Let me know what you think! (about the guitar) Thanks! -mr moon |

Thanks everyone!
Not only did I finally receive it, but I also finally "get it." Not only are there no wood-gaps or fretboard flaws on this one, I'm actually beginning to really dig the VOS finish. This *is* the guitar I've dreamed of owning since I was a kid and saw Ace Frehley jammin' on his LPs!!! I'm able to carve out about 3 hrs a day that I can play 'er uninterrupted: from about 3-4PM (through my modded Marshall DSL100) and from about 11PM-1AM through my little VOX (metal version) headphone amp dealie while I geek out on the net and wind down from being the best daddy a 3-year-old boy could ever want to have.  -mr moon |
