Re: Joan Jett Melody Maker!!!

So it'll remain a question mark for the forseeable future.

It sure would be a cool as hell guitar to offer.

Re: Joan Jett Melody Maker!!!

You gotta give Gibson credit. They're only 20+ years behind Greco.

Re: Joan Jett Melody Maker!!!

I dig that. I have a Greco Super Real. The one awesome Japanese guitar I should have bought when I had the chance was an Aria SG Jr copy that had the best name ever: Beat Master. I've only seen one.

I could be wrong, but at this point it just doesn't look like it's going to happen.

Sounds like Pat Travers owned it before you. Maybe Gibson should change it to a cherry finish and rename it the Pat Travers signature model.

I think these MM's are some of the most under-rated guitars Gibson made. Great chunk of mahogany, braz board, great neck. Too bad about that odd little head!

Re: Joan Jett Melody Maker!!!

actually, i think there's a chance that the one i picked up modded, may actually have been one of JJ's, because, i live right near where she lives and it's too coincidental that this guit should just materialise where she lives... doesn't matter anyway, it's MINE now, and i play the shit out of it!
