How much does your Les Paul weigh?
just got my first standard... the tone is incredible... looks almost identical to duane allman's 'Lanta... weight = 9lbs 12ozs!!! will post pics later...

the other guitarist in our band has couple of 90's classics and mine seems notably heavier than both of his... i was surprised at the weight difference between them... it is no wonder that Jimmy is beginning to slump a little as the years pass...

my 2005 standard is 9.7 pounds I believe. I just weighed myself and then weighed myself and the guitar and subtracted.
It doesn't feel very heavy at all too me though. Obviously compared to strats which I was used to it is but its definitely not uncomfortably heavy. |

+/- 73 Custom 10 lbs. I absolutely dont care for the weight. Give me 12 lbs Norlin every day. I am not used to light guitars, they seem like toy to me.

My '01 R9 is 8.75, my '74 Custom is in the 10 range.
The older I get, the more I see to notice the weight of the Custom, especially after a 3 hour gig.

I thought mine was on the heavy side but it looks like i a about par for the course... I appreciate all of the feedback, i was surprised that the Page Authentics were 9lbs 4 ozs, I always heard jimmy's guitars were known for the extreme heaviness...
