these are nice looking-

i had never considered replacing the factory stuff -but your side by sides make me understand why folks do this

its funny becuase it subtle yet i recognize the difference in the plastics -period -wise-i grew up in the fifities and i remember that lighter more opaque plastic being used

can you give me a ball park as to the least $$$ and most $$$ a complete replacement of plastic might run-i understand the price differences between the different companies

Where does one find un-aged plastics that are approximately the correct color?

Is the typeface on the DMC pokerchip vintage correct? Interesting side-by-side with the fatboy.

the only plastic I really hated on mine was the switch ring.

Here's the old ring (left) and new one (right) from Historic Makeovers, knurled nut for comparison too.

Heres a picture I put together. Hopefully it adds to aid those in understanding or deciding on what to do.

Here's a few photos I've taken comparing parts. I have a set of Fatboy parts enroute, so as soon as they get here, I'll add photos comparing them to Historic plastic.

Historic inlays on top (or what's left of 'em)
Buzzy Inlays on the bottom
