https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Occult
The word occult comes from the Latin word occultus (clandestine, hidden, secret), referring to "knowledge of the hidden".Thus, by definition, occult symbolism is that which we see in everyday life, but are unaware of its meaning.

PART 1
The Gibson Company was started by five men, who essentially employed and paid Orville Gibson to use his name and notoriety, much like Mr. Les Paul, Lester Polsfuss.
Orville Gibson was never a principal partner in the Gibson company (although he did own some stock for a brief period).

No information as to how Orville Gibson got his name, but what appears to be Masonic twin pillars symbolism.
Gibson is a phonetic anagram for "big sun" a.k.a. "sunburst".
The word "Gibson" is a tip-off that the company is run by Freemasons, a solar cult obsessed with all things Egyptian.

The headstock from a mandolin built by Orville Gibson, shows a alignment of three celestrial (heavenly) bodies, one is a star.

The Les Paul Goldtop's design screams Golden Ratio, but how to prove that it crafted by a kabbalist?
Ted McCarty, "the true creator" (The Great Architect) of the Les Paul guitar, freely admits to being a mason, as was Paul Bigsby:

Henry Juszkiewicz's creation, the Firebird X, is a Masonic Phoenix with a Solar Cross (X).
The phoenix bird symbolizes immortality, resurrection and life after death. The 2012 Firebird X, now reborn as the 2013 LPX.
A cinder block is a concrete "masonry" unit, or cornerstone.
Memphis was the ancient capital of Lower Egypt.
