• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

This is a format that I always wished they'd make.....a classic Les Paul Standard with two ES-style F-holes. I know they've had others in the past, but I like the Standard-style the best. May have to look into one of these.....

Probably the same. I think it looks great. It doesn't seem to have the same top-carve contours as a regular Les Paul, but the overall combination works nicely.

JMHO - They should ship it sans pickguard and let the owner decide to install or not.

Good idea.

It would also be trés cool if they did one of these as a P90's Goldtop as well.

This must be a flyweight....
"Weight relieved Mahogany Centerblock"?
Really? Why would you need to weight relieve the centerblock?
I'd like a black Custom version with ebony and Grovers

Yes, a Black Beauty version would be out of this world!

The Zzounds listing says it's a spruce top, which if true would mean it sports a maple veneer.

I think it's laminated maple with spruce bracing, like other ES's.

I agree. I keep coming back to this thread to look at it.

My problem with this and all f hole Lesters so far is that the f holes are too big, like really ES sized. With the Lesters smaller body they should have smaller f holes, like the ES140 3/4 scale guitars.

Sorry...once again my phone vs the forum!
Anyway, the 140's body & a Lester are real close in size..they need a smaller hole to balance things out.
My opinion of course.
