Yesterday I read some user reviews of gibson usa models LP LP junior etc It ain't real good reading. A lot of complaints and finish is at the top of the list. I have said several times in this forum People in general don't like their new finish guitar to check. I think this is why Gibson Custom wont go back to the original 50's lacqer prep which checks easily with bad care of the instrument.
