Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
yes, we heard the news earlier this morning from the mayor. My mother-in-law was part of a group here in Mahwah, NJ (his hometown) that was currently working with him to put together an exhibition about him for the Mahwah Museum. Hopefully they'll still be able to complete that. It would be a nice tribute to a longtime Mahwah resident.
Rest in peace Les.
I met Les Paul and BB King together at a Gibson hospitality suite during an Anaheim NAMM show in the mid 1980's. I got a chance to talk to Les about his early days of experimenting with recording equipment. His contributions to the recording industry are as great as the electric guitar that bears his name. What a true American pioneer.
