• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Checking out a wine red custom locally. It is priced at 2,300 and looks to be in great condition but there are some "oddities". It looks like the top and back has been refinished. It is more of a walnut color and the paint has really sunk into the wood. You can really see the wood pores. Also when black lighted it is not the normal snot green color but orange? There are also some dark shadows and other irregularies however the orange color was consistent. So the price seems attractive and it was really light but I'm just scratching my head on the color. Also the binding was really white as well.

We need :photos

Its very hard to tell about originality of some guitar without at least one good photo. But if the finish is more walnut like, there could be really refinish.
