• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

From the Heritage 80 to the protector case(which seems to last forever) Charlie Hargrett(Blackfoot) has used this since 1982. A product of good times after the Strikes album.
One of the finest gentlemen and player, he sold me this guitar a while back with a Roy Blankenship modded 65 bassman.
Check his site out. http://www.siogo.co site down

From days when Def Leppard opened for them
to how he ran amps/wired guitars.
Alot of interesting reading. And his attention to detail

One of my favorite shows was Def-Leppard and Johnny Van Zandt opening for Blackfoot way back when!
You're lucky to have that Guitar...

Tone pots not even hooked up.
A real woody sound. True to the instrument

That guitar has taken a lot of wear (abuse?) and developed some nice "mojo".

No matter how much I play mine or take it to gigs, there is no checking or UV fade whatsoever!?!

Hey thats a nice one you have.
This ones been around the world a few times.
Sweated on ALOT. Numerous bridges and pickups. After awhile with the sweat, they just stop working.
But its in one piece along with the case(1 broken latch). Both could be rocked with for years to come. I`ve not changed a string. But I have played it:hank
Said guitar 1982 Zurich. Charlies tone is quite evident

Thank you for posting this awesome clip . I had the pleasure of once seeing Blackfoot way back in 1980 and this brought back some great memories and I had forgotten about Ricky Medlocke being with Blackfoot . Remember the Train song ?
