Are the Tronical robotic tuners available to purchase?

Are the Tronical robotic tuners which come on the Robot available to purchase as an aftermarket item? If not now, are they going to be anytime soon?

thanks,

Steve

Re: Are the Tronical robotic tuners available to purchase?

They were available before Gibson bought the rights exclusivley.

They stopped the Version for Stratocaster.

The system is called Powertune and the companys name is Tronical, it is a german company located in Hamburg.

They seem to do no customer service anymore, you can try it by email or search ebay.

I saw some powertune systems on ebay.
Original salesprice was around 1000 Euro, 1500$ - (not sure)
on ebay around 500 Euro/750$. Maybe its worth to buy a cheap robot.

Jo

btw there is a cheap Strat for 39K$ on ebay, the legend

Re: Are the Tronical robotic tuners available to purchase?

Keep in mind that there is a lot more to the installation than just the tuners. This is a system which is pretty much integral to the guitar itself.

With SG Robots and LPs being blown out at cheap prices ($799-999), it would make more sense to buy one of those, even if it was to just rob the Tronics system off of it. Not sure I would want to tackle the job, but that's just me...

Re: Are the Tronical robotic tuners available to purchase?

Thanks for your help folks.

as i live in Australia (robots are around $4000 here) i was trying to robotise my LP custom on the cheap.

Where are there robots for sale for $799?
I have a friend in USA at the moment and is is going to pick one up for me and send it to Australia.

At that price it's a no brainer.

Thanks again,

Steve

In Thomann, D, there are some Robot LPs for 1799 Eur, that's a lot less than 4k USD...

Re: Are the Tronical robotic tuners available to purchase?

I ended up getting the black les Paul Studio Robot for $999 from SamAsh.This is an incredible price.

Just waiting for my friend to ship it to me now.

I am tempted to strip the robotic hardware and put it on my R8.

Thanks for steering me towards this purchase fellow LP lovers,

Steve

Congrats! I bought the ebony robot from them as well and really like it...so much so I also bought a silverburst (w/binding, etc.). Time will tell if they hold up, but for right now I'm very happy with them in a live situation.
