Photos from San Mateo Guitar Show 2012

Yeah, I guess this first one should be over in the vintage section. Think of it as a bonus for you SG Junior fans, of which I am proud to be one.

Are the knobs on this 335 original? I'm leaning towards no.

No, it's not your eyes and your glasses don't need to be cleaned. Well, maybe not on that later one ....

Re: Photos from San Mateo Guitar Show 2012

what do you guys make of that "1966 EDS-1275"?

It looked very strange to me; for instance, why would the 12-string headstock have a different Gibson logo from the 6-string neck?

Cool pics. Who had the F-2 mando?

That Knutsen is a wild guitar. Must be Intermountain.

Thanks for the pics. Nice red 1963 ES335 stoptail. Hard to see the price, was that $16,500?

I looked for their shop/site but couldn't find any info. Do they have a web site?

Who had the 62/63 cherry ES345 with Bigsby/Custom Made plaque in post #4? Can't read the dealer or price on the tag?

Re: Photos from San Mateo Guitar Show 2012

I went on Saturday. Nice photos BTW. I was not too impressed overall with the selection of vintage guitars (both Gibson and Fender). It seems the Northern California shows have been getting worse for the last 3-4 years. Maybe I am just jealous of the guitars that show up in the pictures from Arlington or Dallas shows? I suppose it is unrealistic to think we would ever get those dealers to travel up here. Either way, my favorites were probably the red ES-335 and 345 or the SB 1962 ES-335.

Question for you guys, is the sunburst ES-335 in the back a '58-'60? There was no sign on it and the dealer was busy talking to someone else when I went by.

4 String- you are a true hero to this site.

I'd like to meet you if you are going to the Pomona
Show this Saturday. Just tell Larry Briggs you are looking
for Vintage 1.
I often work his booth for him.

Thanks again for the pictures!
