RUFFCUT

LPF member RUFFCUT deserves a great complimentary THANK YOU for sending me his special order pickguard and a nice HD sweater, free of charge. An astonishing kind gesture, that I hardly can belive.
It's hard for me to respond to him in an appropriate way, but my wife said that it is not always neccesary to 'pay back' with cash or any other gifts. Just appreciate your present from RUFFCUT and send him a warm thought, she said.
I will,........

He is a good guy and a friend.....We at the Forum take care of our Forum Brothers.....

I had a set of pick-ups that I gave him and some day he will return a favor,

Favors are re paid in more than just money......

I think the world is missing this now days.....

Quite right, I had a Fatboy switchtip and some aged screws I didn't need so I sent them on to a Forum bro that had a use for them - just a little favour that didn't merit any thought of payment. A set of pickups is a much bigger favour, granted - you too are a gentleman!

Re: RUFFCUT

Maybe not on the same dollar level as Ruffcut and tspoon, but Don sent me an amber jewel light for my home built 5E3 - no charge and he paid to mail it. I offered to send someone a Gotoh bridge because they wanted to try an ABR style (they actually declined, but I tried). There are some good guys on this forum. I remind myself of that when I read a thread filled with negative posts.

Re: RUFFCUT

...now if that is the screwless p/g he's still making?

Please confirm. I have one of the first run batches he made, and still have to this day.

Peace!!

Yes it's somewhat been lost in this materialist/consumerism based world we live in.......................but it's making a determined comeback as evidenced here

Re: RUFFCUT

Forum member misterdistortion sent me some screws gratis and paid the postage. Gestures like that give me a warm glow and restore my faith in people when there's so much nastiness around us.

Forum "bro Sean made me a copy of "Man of the World, The Peter Green Story", which he sent all the way from England. Much appreciated.

I have that very documentary on my DVD hard drive, along with the Fleetwood Mac documentary "Don't Stop". They were both repeated on the BBC recently, and are good to watch together.

That was really nice of you, RUFFCUT, and that H-D sweatshirt will be awesome especially in Lillehammer.
