....I got a set waiting to go in a R9. I'd love to maybe pre-radias them and then let'em soak up some UV's to yellow up before installing.

Kim's inlays are dead on (color and shape). Made from the original material formula from the original plant and precision laser cut

I've done that with previous sets and the results are worth the wait...these sets are "ready to go"...

Re: some killer celluloid inlays

I have noticed with plastic (much like with people) the results from UV exposure take some time to show up, I left some Dimarzio PU rings outside and over a couple of months (after two- 3 weeks of 24/7 Atlanta summer sunshine) after putting them in a guitar, got a good bit darker.

Re: some killer celluloid inlays

I just scored that set that was linked here yesterday. Got a great price from the eBay auction. Either historic or "vintage" cut, though Kim says historic are more accurate.

Re: some killer celluloid inlays

Just picked up a set for my R8, should be here later this week.
Thanks for the heads up on these

No for the big question--anybody close to WNY who has already installed a set?

I'd like some guidance / help doing this, willing to travel to central NY to western / central Pennsylvania to have someone give me a hand.
(Don't want to screw up the R8)

Thanks!!
