Re: some killer celluloid inlays
Kim's inlays are dead on (color and shape). Made from the original material formula from the original plant and precision laser cut

Re: some killer celluloid inlays
I have noticed with plastic (much like with people) the results from UV exposure take some time to show up, I left some Dimarzio PU rings outside and over a couple of months (after two- 3 weeks of 24/7 Atlanta summer sunshine) after putting them in a guitar, got a good bit darker.

Re: some killer celluloid inlays
I just scored that set that was linked here yesterday. Got a great price from the eBay auction. Either historic or "vintage" cut, though Kim says historic are more accurate.

Re: some killer celluloid inlays
Just picked up a set for my R8, should be here later this week.
Thanks for the heads up on these No for the big question--anybody close to WNY who has already installed a set? I'd like some guidance / help doing this, willing to travel to central NY to western / central Pennsylvania to have someone give me a hand. (Don't want to screw up the R8) Thanks!!
