• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Is the workmanship in the tone cavity on new LPs horrible, or just mine?

I opened up the Tone pot cavity on my new 16 Traditional Zebra...

My word, Its like the router bit stopped and all the shrapnel was left. Compared to my 97 Studio, its horrible. The guitar looks great but the guts are terrible.. Am i wrong to think more attention to detail should happen on a $2300 2800msrp product?

theres a clear burn mark on the Jack Insulation..

Id post a pic if it wasn't so hard to do on here..

I had to do some sanding inside my 2913 R9 to get rid of some very crude finishing (or rather lack of finishing). Just as well that the rest of the guitar is great.
