A World War II soldiers 1937 Reznick by Gibson. Norman Byerly, of the 1st armored division, carved into the back as he traveled through the Eastern Theater during the war. The stories it could tell. Thanks to my pal Arthur Forni for pointing this gem out to me. I will be taking it to the WWII museum in New Orleans soon to offer it up for loan.
Basically a Gibson made model KG-11 made for the Reznick Music shop. Here are a couple of repair entries from Gibson's 1937 shipping ledgers. It's a truly rare and obscure Gibson-made brand that were private-labeled for Reznick's Music in Winston-Salem, NC.
