@Devilbat, that is a fantastic looking paul. Im sure it sounds and plays even better. I think collecting has a lot to do with personal pride and some people get off on that. We all have different levels of whats important to us but I tend to gravitate towards enjoying playing instruments instead of finding a "prime example" and keeping it mint. But you're right, as long as you are enjoying it thats all there is to it. Id also love to see a collection of super mint 50's instrument one day just "to see" the same way I enjoy looking at old pictures of the city I live in.
