Hi guys,
been away from the forum for a while, being very busy with Acoustic gigs.....anyway, I bought a secondhand BBE Acoustic preamp model 386 to use with my Northwood Acoustic and loved the "sonic Maximiser" feature which apparently enhances natural harmonics in the sound of the guitar. I thought I would give it a try with my electric at a rehearsal yesterday ( 2001 Gary Moore Sig Les Paul) and BLOODY HELL what a difference!!
This thing has really livened up the sound.....like when you put on new strings but better.
Anyone else tried anything similar, and if so, what were the results like?
