After the previous thread Too Good. Many of you know that I take in horrible guitars for projects and luckily they turn out to be fantastic guitars. "Gibson" I have a 63 Strat refin that plays and sounds terrific. How bout buying a 51-53 Tele Body removed finish and Neck with some refinish. Lets say no routs on body, neck some plugged holes in tuners but in great shape. Would these be a great project and a great playing and sounding scenario with some good afternarket parts. Curious what you guys think.

I recently purchased a '56 tele with a refinished body and overspray neck, the best tele I every played... needs a refret, but dang it's a sweet guitar... pretty special... go for it.... :dude:
