• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Here's your chance to experience nice vintage Les Pauls close up. All you have to do is come to the show. :salude

Coming April 22 in Springfield Missouri, the Four States Guitar Show will feature a vintage Les Paul display including Bursts, Goldtops, Specials and Juniors.
With many booths and dealers there should be numerous other vintage guitars there also.

There will also be live bands with at least one [The Bluesberries] also featuring vintage Les Pauls. :hank

Just a reminder of this event tomorrow.
I will show 11 vintage Les Pauls and 6 vintage Les Paul amps.

I hope some of you attend.
Please drop by my booth and say hello. :eek:la

Looks like you're giving a talk as well as taking a load of your guitars Tom?

Hope it all goes well. All the best :salude

The show is in the basement of a large auditorium.
This year they are hosting live music in the auditorium. My band does a set at 1 pm. First time I've ever had the chance to play in this old hall.

But the vintage show of my collection is a daunting thing, so doing it "one day" in my home town seemed the way to go.
Not sure how much longer I'll risk Bursts taking them to shows, just for "show".

Wish you were coming. :salude

Tom, that display is nothing short of being magnificent... truly fantastic.

Enormous kudos to you for bringing them out for all to see...

As I said previously...this is a very big deal. Hat tipped.

Thank you for sharing the pictures...second time in two days that my day has been made by the generosity of the LPF members.

Beautiful stuff right there! Would have been a good time to hop through ole southern MO, ahh, I had a relationship that started with a drive through the Mark Twain forest to Branson of all places. I know a fella who has one of those Les Paul amps with the "LP" baffle but he refuses to sell it to me and insists on it going unrepaired to a local museum after his retirement, arrgghh.
