• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Good review. I have to say I agree pretty much 100% with everything you say... I'm not as bothered by the les Paul 100 script as you, in fact it's growing on me! The Hologram I couldn't care less about - it's not visible to anyone and mine at less is flush with the finish. The fit and finish is much better than the 2016s I've seen and played and all the burst transitions I've seen on 2015s have been subtle and gorgeous. The flame on mine is subtle (which is my preference) and different areas look more flamed at different angles depending on the light . I've said it before but the paint shop were on great form in 2015! Agree that the MOP inlays are spectacular!

Mine a "Classic", so I've got the 57s in mine and they are just right - full and chimey with plenty of grunt- I've also got the boost which I absolutely love, it's great when you are plugging straight into a valve amp! The neck is by far the most comfortable and easy to play I've ever had! I have a Casino and a Telecaster standard which I still play lots but TBH feel a bit cramped in comparison.

the GForce, like you mine works perfectly but there's still a part of me that doesn't like having hat plastic brick stuck to the back of the headstock so I'm 99% sure I'll lose it eventually. I've already switched out e nut for the Tusq drop in replacement, plus I have the Titanium replacement Gibson sends out for free.

Hi there. Nice guitar you've got yourself there! I've never tried a Classic, but I sure like the look of it.

PS. I also got the titanium nut the other day, but haven't replaced it yet. Funny what you said about the logo too - I actually don't mind it anymore either. Not the prettiest thing in the world, but so overshadowed by all the awesome things about the guitar :hank
