Heritage is doing one now also - at less than 1/2 of the Gibson version. Anyone else subscribe to the law of diminishing returns?

what sort of capacitors do the '70s RI have??? Sprague Black Beauty in a Black Beauty or wax ones? the '50s single coil ones have wax caps no?

are those pick-ups on the 54 the same ones that feature on the les paul special?

The bridge pickup is a P-90, but the neck pickup is an Alnico V "staple" pickup. It's got its own thing going on, for sure.

Bought this a few months back from Sweetwater. It's around 8.8 pounds. I'm very pleased with it.
