• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Peter Frampton's 1973 LP Custom on display today in New Orleans' Hard Rock Cafe'

I'm still having some photo hosting issues but at least there is an image of the guitar above. This well-recorded workhorse Les Paul looked so majestic to me this morning: It was a damp and cloudy day but this guitar was hard to miss.

Sorry if this is already been asked but does the Hardrock own these guitars or if they are on loan from the artist does the artist receive some sort of payment?
Thanks

I enjoy viewing these instruments from the perspective of what they meant to the artists who created so much with them. It's a bit odd that they are often displayed in obscurity, as was the case of this old Custom on the day that I saw it.

Good question (who owns it?). No idea -

From the player's POV: Frampton
