• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Here's my Gil Yaron, with it's top made from a 100 year old reclaimed old growth maple table top that Gil's mom found. Marvelous guitar.:jim

I love this guitar. Gil Yaron must be a genius. If that's what it takes, Gibson should make them all out of reclaimed lumber.

This beauty has been residing with me for the last 18 months and I have to say that the builder of these replica's sure knows his shit! It's become my No. 1 single cut LP during that time and has continued to be a pleasure to own and play :dude:

Oh! and thanks Tony :eek:la

Thanks guys!!! The neck is between a 59 & 60, so it is really comfortable for me to play and I recently put in a set of Vintage Wire Wizzes and it sounds great. :dude:

Hey there, I've been lurking for a while and just found this thread. Lots of great stuff here.

A few years ago I did a goldtop finish on a kit for a customer. It stuck in my head, so the first of the year I decided to do one for myself.

Then I decided to try a cherry burst, completed a few weeks ago. It's already found a home.

Thanks for looking. :)

Just received this little darling. She's from Atlanta. All old woods, Braz, Wizz pickups, DJ inlays and guard, Nos black beauty caps, and not too ugly of a top.

Not really a replica, but after several builds I wanted what I would have ordered if I could. No, it doesn't have a G name on the headstock either. Came out great...but I just like this shot.
