    Werner Fritzschings Burst

Only 3 pics of Werner Fritzschings' LP came turned out fine (all the other pics were blurry due to slow shutter speed on the camera). These were taken last night at the Cactus show in PA.

Lets be clear...this is an Historic right?

Those are definitely not Burst inlays. They appear to be similar to 1993-2002 Historic inlays. The neck binding is very thick. The tuners and headstock looks older than the rest of the guitar. Anybody know what this is?

Tight flame, truss cover close to nut, dark amber knobs... looks very much like the 93-94 historics.

(Although, the pu doesnt look like its close to the bridge like the early 90s)

That looks like a 1992-1993 Classic.

    -1 on the Classic theory.

Classics have never had inlays with a crackled pattern like those in the photos above. 90-92 Classic inlays pretty much look like the current Historic inlays except their color is gray-green, and the patterns are less swirly and more rippled in appearance. Here's a '91 Classic.

Is it just the lighting or are those tuners looking like they're in the pre-shrunken stage?

Surprised to see him there- I think he had some history with Cactus though.

Even the truss rod cover seems too wide at the upper bout?

It is not an early '90s LP classic or pre-historic reissue. The tell tale is the contour of the horn, which doesn't have the typical "bump" which was corrected with the introduction of the historic line.

    BTW, who is this guy?
