I picked this up new for a song when they first came out.

A very nice, Les Paul. Naturally being the idiot that I am, I sold it.

Anyone else wanna swap stories on tone, comparison to Historics or other models, also are Classic Antiques the best kept secret in the LP line?

Very sweet looking guitar Tweed335. And, yes, the Classic Antiques are one of the best kept secrets in the whole Les Paul lineup. I'd really love to have mine back again!!!
