• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Very sad news. He was very intelligent, honest and friendly man. We can at least give up him honour with playing our Les Pauls.

RIP Les. :rip :-(

I am truely speachless. This just made my heart sink.
He was an inventor, an originator and I have been yearning to go see him in New York for along time.

In college I did a history paper on his contributions to the recording industry and multi-track recording (Sound on Sound).

Without Lester William Polfuss, a.k.a Rhubarb Red, a.k.a. Les Paul, this music world would not be what it is today.

I am stunned, saddened, and ... speechless.

Now here is a man, entertainer, etc., that SHOULD be celebrated.

My partner in crime at work and I have been talking about going into Manhattan (we both live on Long Island) to see him one Monday night for oh about the last 4 years. I guess we just took it for granted that Les would always be there. Truly a sad day. :(

RIP Les. Our prayers are with your family and friends.
