Hey Craig. Man, I found the serial number to my old wine red 1987 Les Paul......82227571. One thing I noticed about your guitar that is very much like how mine was, is how the center seam is slightly left of center, closer to the D string than the G string....I guess that could just be the angle of the pics though.

Hi Craig. I never found that old Les Paul. I'll try to find some pics of it and send you. I can't tell if it looks like my old one or not but man the story sure does seem to line up. Love the idea of you buying it for your son. If it turns out to be my old one, that will be so great to know it's a part of that. Thanks for responding.
